The Milwaukee M12 3/8” Crown Stapler delivers a true hand tool replacement. At just 3.0 lbs. and 7.5” long the compact design allows for great access into tight spaces and convenient tool belt portability. An easy to squeeze trigger design significantly reduces fatigue associated with traditional hand staplers. Integrated sequential and contact actuation trigger design provides increased productivity and seamless changing between firing modes. The 2447 is compatible with all Milwaukee M12 batteries, and carries Milwaukee’s 5-Year limited power tool warranty.
I've been using this here and there for the past couple years and have never had a problem. I've read the other reviews with it locking up during jobs, I've yet to use this for a continuous use like these other two reviewers. I cannot state on longevity of this if being used continuously for hours. This works great for the DIYer, it has the great warranty on it too so if it does break it they'll repair or replace it. As these other problems have shown up maybe Milwaukee has fixed these issues and then wouldn't be a problem.
I almost made it through a box up staples and the motor locked up. It just hummed and the lights flashed with multiple batteries. Think the Brushes may not be installed correctly or may not have had the correct brushes installed. I read a half dozen recent comments stating the same exact issues so I am thinking Milwaukee has either a design flaw or a batch issue with these units.
Ordered 2 Milwaukee 2447-20 M-12 3/8" Crown staplers for installing 2500 sq. feet of foil insulation for in-floor heating system. We were running 3/8" staple length into wood I-joists. After about 5 hours of use the first stapler stopped working-lights flashed and motor just hummed. Installed fresh battery, would fire one staple and quit again. Second stapler made it through the first day and 3 hours into the next until it did the exact same thing. Very Disappointed. We are HUGE fans of Milwaukee power tools, but this fell flat on its face for a Milwaukee tool.
