Disappointed

I'm a plumber and own nothing but milwaukee power tools. This is the first time a milwaukee tool has let me down. Couldn't believe it when the thing started smoking. Haven't decided if I can even be bothered to warranty it out. It is literally the worst dremel tool I've ever used. Would not recommend at all.

Not what I had hoped for from Milwaukee

I uses rotary tools in my job almost every day. Over the years I have gone through several Dremel tools. About a year and they stop working for various reasons. I decided to try the Milwaukee. It made it four months before the switch would not turn the tool off anymore and the speed regulator stopped functioning. Only way to stop the tool was to take the battery off. (Almost took my finger off in the process). I bought a second one (since I now have committed to the M12 batteries) and hoping the first one I had was a fluke. My other Milwaukee tools have been bullet-proof. Let's hope this is not a new road Milwaukee is going down. Stay tuned.

Why is there no switch to reverse direction?

The one i have only spins in the direction that cause the grind to go in your face. that is crazy... if you hold it in your right hand, the blade is spinning clockwise which throws debri right in your face...

I love all of my M12s but this one

While using it on the lower speed setting, it stopped and flashed all 4 LEDs. Changed batteries with no luck. Disappointed as all my other M12s have been great

Not as good as was expecting.

I've owned numerous Dremel tools in the past and wa hoping this would stack up at least. While it's done what I've needed it to do so far, I'm disappointed in the build quality and features.

The speed control dial just feels loose. There's no resistance or lock to the dial so it's easy to change the setting by accident when moving the tool around in your hands.

Would love to have see some sort of hanger loop and more accessories like flex and precision heads, depth guides, safety shields, and guides for sanding, cutting and grinding. Would also love to see a tool free keyless chuck.

Fortunately some of these missing features can be found from other brands and made to work with this tool. Still it would be nice if Milwaukee offered their own specifically for this tool.
