It gets the job done much quicker!!

The cordless ratchet really helps with speeding up jobs. The rated RPM of the tool is 250, but has been tested and gone over that rating. For such a high speed, the torque it produces is actually quite surprising. I didn't expect so much torque and speed. If you start a bolt sideways, it has no problem cross threading it, and it can snug bolts up tight too.
Pros: Balanced well, M12 battery lineup, small ratchet head, variable trigger is precise, very fast RPM!
Cons: LED Light shines at the socket, not in the direction of a bolt. Battery release is funky, but I can get used to it. Direction selector on ratchet head is small and sometimes hard to grab ahold of to switch directions, even tougher with gloves.

I really like the tool, but if I bought a second, it would defiantly be the Fuel/brushless version because its not much more money and offers about double the torque.
Overall, I see this tool as a big bonus for efficiency and I am happy I bought it.

light weight tool

I got this tool to use on automotive and shop repair. It stripped out while taking off a cover over hydraulic hoses. The bolts were not that difficult to remove with my hand tools so I was surprised when it was skipping gears and stopped working. Cudos to Milwaukie for sending me a new unit. Im hoping that I got a lemon with the first one and the replacement holds up a bit better. I like the ergonomics, weight and power so Ive got my fingers crossed with the replacement. I would recommend the tool because of the customer service that stands behind the product for repair or replacement.

Two in less then 9 month!

I love Milwaukee products and rave about them to all my co workers but this ratchet is garbage! Two have now broke within a year (first one lasted 3 months) and it is very inconvenient to get it repaired. I work 8-5 and service centre is open 8-4:30.... I now have to figure out how to get time off to get this tool fixed which should have lasted. I don’t even want to replace it with the same model... I will be asking to have it replaced with the fuel model.

This ratchet was only used for light use a few times a week. So disappointed! Would not recommend

Decent for a non fuel tool

The ratchet is ok for what it is intended for. Very light use and increasing work efficiency. It does not have much power so don't plan on using it to break loose tight bolts. Mine ended up stripping and won't turn after about four months of use and is currently in for warranty. As with any other Milwaukee tool I now recommend getting the fuel line only. The standard M12 and M18 non fuel tools are not worth the price. They are much weaker and less well built/durable than the fuel line. If you're going to bother buying Milwaukee stuff might as well spend a little extra and get the good stuff. The non on fuel line, sad to say, is simply not up to par
