Long time user

I have been using M18 tools for 16 years, my first charger was a 48-59-1801 for use with M18 Cordless LITHIUM-ION 2 ah. Now I have batteries from 2 ah to 12 ah High output and this charger charges them all. For someone who has cross generational batteries and tools this charger is the answer.

Problem with charger

Redlithium XC5.0/CP2.0 charger starter kit purchased May 2020. After the 2nd or 3rd time using this charger (January 2020) the solid green light came on while attempting to charge 5.0 battery, which was drained, and would not charge. Tried charging 2.0 battery and same thing happened. Love the drill but hope this isn't an ongoing problem with chargers.

I would buy this product again - Reliable !!!

I own a large number (20+) of Milwaukee tools and the chargers supplied, or that I purchased, have never failed or let me down. I have read all of the negative feedback posted and have to think that many of the people complaining aren't as smart as the battery. If you buy 3 chargers and they're all bad it's time to look at something other than the charger itself. Thank you Milwaukee for the fantastic and reliable product line.

Best Tool Manufacture Today.PERIOD

For the people saying Milwaukee is cheap ignore them. So first every manufacture of anything has some bad runs here and there but Milwaukee's warranty is solid. Therefore there chargers their batteries there warranty is hands down the best. Go ahead waste your money on those other brands and you will see what junk really is. I charge 2 HD 12.0 2 HD5.0 and 2 m12 2.0 batteries constantly with 1 charger. It's been solid for almost a year now and can't say enough good things about their products.Except can we get a specific tool holder in the blackout family. A box for each type of tool,_Impacts,Drills,Saw z alls ect) that's my only gripe.

doesn't last very long

We have 2 of these chargers on our site. Both of them are about 2 years old and have quit working. We have old 14.4v and chargers from other brands that are much older and still going. Milwaukee should make an updated version of this and issue free replacement for these. I love my Milwaukee tools, but the low quality of these chargers will make me consider other brands.
