Yes - but also buy spare chucks

Use the drill for home projects and working on a commercial building fitout. Chuck has siezed, tool useless until repaired.

Just quit on me

I bought this drill about nine months ago part of a four piece set. I've only used it a dozen times or so. The other day while drilling a hole just stop. Despite trying everything I can think of I still can't get it to work. There used to be a service center 10 miles away, now the closest one is a couple hundred. I love Milwaukee Tools but Milwaukee is making Hard. I have to 9 amp hour batteries less than 6 months old both of them won't hold a charge. And I can't seem to get a warranty on them. We'll see how the hammer drill warranty goes.

My go to Drill

This is my favorite out of the 3 drills that I own.
2902 this model
2804 Gen 3 fuel
2704 Gen 2 Fuel

The Gen 3 fuel is more powerful but I don't like the electronic clutch. Even on the lowest clutch setting it's too powerful and strips the screw heads if you're not careful. The 2902 has better clutch settings for the type of work I do which is anything smaller than 1/4-20 screws. I only bust out the Gen 3 when using hole saws through hollow metal doors for lock installs.

Can't comment on the hammer function, I have a dedicated SDS plus for masonry.

Fantastic Drill

As a contractor, I use this hammer drill constantly. It has incredible power, is extremely comfortable and does not burn through battery power. Highly recommended.
