Lacking in several key areas

The functionality of the tool seems pretty good, bright lines and micro adjust is nice but where it really let's me down is:
-too big and bulky, wont stick to cornerbead without sliding
-no carrying case, like cmon for a $400 laser you should get a case

This is a large laser, like twice the size of competitors and without the case im actually regretting this purchase

I find it lacking.

Steed stud framing and suspended ceiling. My biggest complaint is the lack of a simple function. And that's to have the plump points Isolated in an isolated setting of their own. Secondly i guess they have all the confidence in the world in the durability. There's no case and the box it come in is barren of any kind of cushioning. My local big box store is notorious for their soccer skills in regards to package handling. So yes im underwhelmed with this behemoth of laser. It just wasn't what I thought it was.

Great product but a few let downs

This product is great over all. Milwaukee usually gets it right on the ball. But this time they fell a little short. Every model except this one comes with a carrying case. I understand it’s a bare tool but it should at least come with a small case to protect it. Every other brand gives your either a hard or soft case to protect the level. I hope Milwaukee can improve on this one minor issue. If it had a case it would of been a 5star.
