Where do I begin with how excellent a tool this is? I do maintenance for apartments and I used to use a set of Craftsman 20v tools. But they were big and cumbersome, plus I don't live near a store that carries them, so whenever I needed parts or wanted to look at the next tool I "need" (as I explain to my wife), it was a hassle. But right next door to the apartment community is a store that carries Milwaukee.
I started making the switch when I needed a new circular saw and Milwaukee had one in that perfect 5-3/8" blade that I wanted. From there it was only a matter of time before I dropped the drill/driver I was using and made the switch to the Milwaukee driver. I don't regret it.
This thing has plenty of torque, plenty of power to handle the toughest of screws, nuts, and even most tub drains I throw at it. I have the adapters for removing hex heads, all the screws, and sockets. I have a set of drill bits for it and those get used more in this than I use an actual drill!
I have a few qualms about some of the other m12 tools in my bag, but this is one that never lets me down and keeps me in the m12 camp. I have no reason to go up to the m18 with this.
The quality is exactly what I have come to expect from Milwaukee! Small package, strong motor, easy to change bits one handed. This one goes with me on every project. I especially love it working on vehicles. Makes everything so much faster!
- well built
- excellent battery life
Bottom line: I would buy this again in a heartbeat. It runs circles around the yellow competition which I used to swear by.
Other than the clip coming loose I have absolutely no complaints! It went head to head with a 20v dewalt impact and almost won! Pretty darn impressive!! I've had people try my m12 tools and immediately switch to either m12 or m18..
