I would buy or recommend this impact driver.

I use this product for remodeling jobs. It cuts out often unless the trigger is pulled at least half way. It is fine if you go all out with it, but for lighter work, it is a pain. You can still use it, just frustrating. Also, the light does not cast at the bit making it difficult to use in low light situations. The beam is way too low and makes removing cabinets or other low light situations a pain. I like almost all of my other milwaukee tools, but this tool is not one I would recommend.

I would NOT buy this product again

I have several Milwaukee products, corded & cordless, so purchasing this impact drive was a sure bet for me. Well sad to say that this has not lived up to the brands image - not even close. Power is not the problem it can drive. The ability to control the speed is non existent. Driver does not start & manage the speed consistently at all. as a result you cannot control screw depth and it just strips the screw heads. Other times it just stops running and you need to re-trigger it to get it running. I am disappointed with Milwaukee regarding this product.

Some issues with this one

I use Milwaukee tools and am very happy with most everything I have but this impact driver is having some issues. While putting down a deck this impact driver was having trouble driving the screws. The trigger would not activate the driver. I’d have to press additional times to get it to go. Also the chuck seems to be finicky as well. It just surprises because I haven’t had these issues with Milwaukee products. However I’m still a fan.

Worked great for about six months

Bought this screw gun for work on a construction site and used every day. After about six months it began to work irregularly, sometimes driving with no problem while other times stopping abruptly in the middle of driving a screw. Problem has worsened over time and now is unreliable, much faster to use a regular drill.
