Ditch FedEx

Still haven’t gotten it. I really wish these guys would stop using FedEx. I think their drivers could even lose their own paychecks. Who knows if I’ll ever see this tool. :(

Great tool

I bought this to use on shrink tubes and shrink tools with the solder ring and it excels with both tasks. Heats up quick and does it's job. A 5 AH battery lasts enough to complete the whole job for me. Keep in mind that heating element and a blowing motor requires a lot of juice, so don't expect it to stretch the battery life for hours. If i had to complain about anything, i'd ask Milwaukee to include a couple of tips with it. And please try not to compare it with a corded heat gun. They serve different purposes.

Needs critical features

Most of these reviews complain about battery life. For me that’s a non-issue. If you have a basic understanding of batteries and how much power a heat gun pulls, it’s on par. Comparing it to a plug in 120v hair dryer is a uneducated comparison. My issue is that it doesn’t have adjustable heat settings and a positive lock on the trigger. For the price it should come with a reducer too. Hopefully Milwaukee is listening to all these bad reviews, which I failed to read before purchasing. First time I’ve been let down by Milwaukee cordless tools. Jacob, no need to reply. You guys have to have gotten the point by now.

Vary disappointed with Milwaukee tool

I have a lot of Milwaukee tools never been disappointed with any of them until now. This heat gun had trouble melting ice on the back of a heat pump, the ice was not vary thick the blow dryer from the bathroom did a better and faster job.
This thing needs a lock on the trigger.
I will be returning it for a refund.
I seriously can not believe Milwaukee tool
would put out such a inferior non-professional tool.
