Description

Milwaukee 49-22-4105 Description

Milwaukee Ice Hardened products utilize a proprietary cryogenic hardening process that improves upon traditional heat treat processes. Unlike surface coatings that wear away, cryogenics harden to the core by minimizing soft metal (austenite) and creating more hard metal (martensite). The result is a product that is more consistently hard throughout, resulting in life up to 50% longer than the competition.

Best hole saws for the money

I buy these pretty little often. Yes, I understand that they have a chip tooth warranty, but I promise you that I punish these way harder then the people in the R&D at Milwaukee. I modified the arbor to work in my milling machine and I push these through everything. It takes about 12 minutes to go through 1.5” of steel.... they last a while before you chip a tooth and it’s usually because I’m getting greedy and didn’t clean the chips out in time. Here’s a pic of the pallet forks that I’m modifying right now, in that pic is a 1.5” diameter that has 3 chipped teeth and I still jammed it through the second fork.
